New Name, Same Great Service – We’ve changed our name from Weber Septic to Weber Environmental Services to reflect the increased range of services we provide.
For both homeowners and businesses, keeping your septic system in good condition is a high priority. Routine septic inspections, pumping, and maintenance help extend the life of your septic system and all of its components. Besides installing, inspecting, and repairing septic systems and leaching/weeping tile beds, Weber Environmental Services also handle many other services such as sewer drain and catch basin cleaning, and water well pump installation and repair.
Since 1960, Weber Environmental Services has provided reliable and competitively priced septic system maintenance and installations to customers in Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Cambridge, and surrounding areas. From excavation and trenching to inspections and septic tank cleaning and maintenance, our experienced and professional employees strive to offer you exceptional service.
We are licensed by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to handle projects related to septic systems, including septic system locating, analysis, engineering and installation services, and water well pump installations, servicing, and repairs. We are also active members of the Ontario Association of Sewage Industry Services (OASIS), and members of several other associations (see About Us).
Septic system installation is the core of our business. We install every component, from the septic tank, baffles, riser lid, to the trenches, and leaching beds. We also install Class 4 tertiary sewage treatment plants. And our relationship with you doesn’t end there. We perform regular maintenance visits such as septic tank pumping, septic parts inspections, and effluent filter cleaning to keep your septic system operating optimally, minimizing costly repairs.
We support every step of waste removal from your home, business, or industrial space. We offer products to support older septic systems, such as riser lids and rejuvenating treatments, and we can decommission water wells and septic tanks. We repair and replace sump pumps. We also offer inspection services on wells and well water testing for real estate sales.
With a whole fleet of vacuum trucks, excavators and other equipment, Weber Environmental Services can handle even the largest of projects. Our highly trained technicians can work in all environments, including confined spaces.
Whether you are installing a new septic system, or purchasing a home with an existing septic system, it’s important to understand the septic system process. Knowing what types of materials cannot go into your septic tank, as well as when maintenance and inspection services are required, will keep repair costs down and extend the life of your septic system.
Septic system inspections and septic tank pumping and cleaning must be performed regularly to keep your septic system performing well. Weber Environmental Services offers all of these services, as well as repairs and 24 hour emergency service, so with one call, you know your system will be running efficiently again in no time.
We also offer catch basin cleaning, sewer drain camera inspections, drain and weeping tile bed flushing, confined space entry, real estate septic system inspection, and other maintenance and inspection services.
We inspect wells and repair well pumps, decommission wells and septic systems, and perform water testing when necessary.
We also service sewage treatment plants through maintenance agreements with regular inspections to keep systems running smoothly.
We provide treatments for both class 4 (modern) septic systems, as well as ageing septic systems.
Within the septic tank, biological agents (bacteria) break down the waste material before the separated clear effluent is released into the leaching bed. What is not broken down (sludge or scum) must be pumped from the septic tank by a septic system technician every three to five years, or more often if necessary. If the waste material is not breaking down within the tank as it should, it may require a bacterial treatment. At Weber Environmental Services, we will evaluate the performance of your septic system and provide the best, most cost-effective solution for you.
For ageing septic systems, enhanced biological treatment processes can be used. We install treatments that will help older septic systems break down material more efficiently. Rejuvenation of the entire leaching bed with our Terralift equipment is a very cost effective way to extend the life of an ageing system. It is a much cheaper option than a bed replacement and re-landscaping.
Our experts are trained to repair every part of the septic system, from baffles to pumps, all makes and models. We are also licensed to provide the installation, maintenance, and repair services needed for effluent pumps, sewage pumps, water well pumps, and sump pumps.
Our experienced technicians can repair and update class 4 septic systems (with leaching beds) as well as older systems, to add years to their lifespan.
From installation to maintenance, our costs are competitive, and with our comprehensive service list, you only make one call for any septic system service. We service customers in the Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Cambridge, and surrounding areas without additional fees. Our licensed, experienced technicians will help you get back in business quickly and efficiently.
