Sewage Treatment Plants 

Some residential and commercial septic systems have a component called tertiary treatment system, also referred to as a sewage treatment plant (STP).

This component is installed to help clean the outflowing wastewater. Each sewage treatment plant is required to have annual maintenance and constant monitoring. Weber Environmental Services can serve as your regular maintenance provider, and we will ensure that all necessary regulations are being met.

All properties with a tertiary treatment system in Ontario must have a maintenance agreement with a licensed company. At Weber Environmental Services, we have all of the proper licensing, and our manufacturer-trained technicians are capable of repairing and replacing any malfunctioning components within your system. We provide effluent sampling and obtain laboratory testing for all treatment plants when required by the local building departments. All our servicing data is electronically recorded for easy reference. 

If you own a tertiary treatment system, you are responsible for its proper operation. It is mandatory to meet government regulations and manufacturer requirements. Local building departments enforce regulations and monitor all STP operations.

Confined Space Entry 

Many components of a septic or sewer system are found in underground chambers or difficult to access locations. Service and repair of these components often requires entry into a confined space for access.
