Within the tank itself, there can be a buildup of corrosive gases between the tank lid and the surface of the effluent. These gases, usually caused from high strength, heavy volume sewage scum and sludge, can be powerful enough to cause the concrete material to corrode and your septic tank to collapse. All properties with an on-site sewage treatment plant in Ontario must have a maintenance agreement with a licensed company. At Weber Environmental Services, we have all of the proper licensing, and our factory trained technicians are capable of repairing and replacing any malfunctioning components within your system. We provide effluent sampling and obtain laboratory testing for all treatment plants when required by the local building departments. All of our servicing data is electronically recorded for easy reference.

If you own a sewage treatment plant, you are responsible for its proper operation. It is mandatory to meet government regulations and manufacturer requirements. Local building departments enforce regulations and monitor all STP operations. As a licensed service provider, we send reports to these building departments to keep your records up-to-date.
