Septic Tank Pumping and Inspections
Keeping your septic system running efficiently without costly repairs is our goal. Regular maintenance activities, such as pumping and cleaning your septic tank, and regular inspections are essential for your septic system to run well, and minimize costly repairs.
We use specialized technology and equipment including service trucks and vacuum trucks to perform the job quickly and efficiently. For example, we use hydro jetting instead of other cleaning methods, so we are able to completely clear all debris from drainage systems and provide you with the best service possible.
Septic Tank Pumping and Cleaning
One of the most common septic tank maintenance activities to protect the investment of your septic system is having it regularly pumped — typically once every two to three years, but as often as needed. If pumping is ignored, excess solids will build up within your septic tank, and the bacteria used to break up this solid material will not be able to decompose. If your system overflows, then the pipes within your home may back up, and raw sewage could escape the septic tank and migrate into the leaching beds, which would cause the leaching bed to plug up, and fail. These are detrimental results that could negatively affect your family’s health, and require costly repairs.
Within the tank itself, there can be a buildup of corrosive gases between the tank lid and the surface of the effluent. These gases, usually caused from high strength, heavy volume sewage scum and sludge, can be powerful enough to cause the concrete material to corrode and your septic tank to collapse. Regular septic tank pumping services with an inspection are one of the surest ways to keep your system working at its best.
Throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and surrounding areas, Weber Environmental Services provides efficient septic tank pumping and cleaning services. And once tanks have been pumped and cleaned, all waste is disposed of in the proper manner at local disposal facilities licensed by the Ministry of the Environment.

Sewage Treatment Plants
Weber Environmental Systems installs and services both tertiary and secondary sewage treatment plant systems (STPs). Some of the STP manufacturers that we regularly work with include:
• Orenco Systems® Sand Filter
• Waterloo Biofilter
All properties with an on-site sewage treatment plant in Ontario must have a maintenance agreement with a licensed company. At Weber Environmental Services, we have all of the proper licensing, and our factory trained technicians are capable of repairing and replacing any malfunctioning components within your system. We provide effluent sampling and obtain laboratory testing for all treatment plants when required by the local building departments. All of our servicing data is electronically recorded for easy reference.
If you own a sewage treatment plant, you are responsible for its proper operation. It is mandatory to meet government regulations and manufacturer requirements. Local building departments enforce regulations and monitor all STP operations. As a licensed service provider, we send reports to these building departments to keep your records up-to-date.
We travel throughout central Ontario providing services through maintenance agreements for sewage treatment plants, and we are proud to serve residents within Waterloo Region, Wellington Counties, and surrounding areas.
